Inspector Job List
The Inspector Job List keeps field technicians focused on the work assigned to them—no admin console required. This guide explains how to find your jobs, filter the list, and jump back into inspections without digging through technical menus.
Get your bearings
Open My Jobs from the navigation bar to land on your personal queue. The page shows your name, last refresh time, and a quick summary of how many inspections are in progress versus completed.

What you’ll see
- Search and filters let you narrow the list by job number, status, or date range.
- Refresh pulls the latest assignments instantly without waiting for an automatic update.
- Table rows show key details: job and inspection numbers, operator name, current status, when it was last updated, percentage complete, and any flagged issues.
Filter to the job you need
Use the filter bar whenever you need to focus on a specific set of inspections:
- Type part of a job number or operator name into the search box.
- Choose one or more statuses (for example, Draft, In Progress, Ready to Complete).
- Adjust the date range if you only want to see recent assignments.
- Select Apply filters to update the table.

Clear the search box or toggle the All statuses option to broaden the list again. If you get stuck, hit Refresh to reload everything.
Open or resume an inspection
Each row includes quick actions so you can jump straight back into the work:
- Open Wizard reopens the inspection at the last completed step.
- View Details (visible when you also have admin access) opens the admin dossier for deeper edits.

Tracking progress
- The Completeness bar shows how far along you are. If it hits 100% but the status still reads In Progress, it means the job is ready for an administrator to close out.
- The Issues badge appears when any checklist item requires follow-up. Open the wizard to review the flagged step and update it.
Staying up to date
- Automatic refresh: The list updates itself whenever assignments change in the background. You’ll see a brief spinner if new data is loading.
- Manual refresh: Click Refresh if you know the admin team just reassigned work and you want the latest list immediately.
- Offline mode: Because the page relies on a cloud connection, you’ll see a notification if the data cannot be fetched. Retry once you have a stable signal.
Troubleshooting
| What you notice | What to try |

| The list is empty | Confirm you are signed in with the correct account. If jobs still don’t appear, ask an administrator to check your inspector profile. |
| Operator shows “—” | Revisit the inspection’s Risk Assessment step and make sure the operator field is filled in, then save again. |
| Completeness is frozen | Open the inspection wizard, double-check each step for missing answers, and save. If the problem persists, share the job number with support. |
| You can’t see View Details | Only admins see that shortcut. If you need access, request an admin role from your TankSafe administrator. |
